All in all, it was ideal base for travelling to Cadaques. All members of the staff were fairly friendly. We lived in the double room with close to shops.

Unfortunately, the noise isolation was quite poor, and I could hear conversations from the hallway and nearby rooms. The room felt somewhat cramped, and the bed was smaller than expected, made for an uncomfortable night. We had difficulty finding parking in the busy downtown area, despite eventually locating a free spot about a 10-minute walk from the hostal.

We had an very nice group vacation! The staff were friendly. We enjoyed visiting the fine beaches and the local art galleries. The location made it super easy to explore nearby cafes and shops. Don't miss trying the scrambled eggs for breakfast! It was worth every euro and set us up for the day.
The only downside was parking. It took us a while to find a spot, and it was a bit of a trek from the hostal. Plan accordingly if you have a car.
